The indoor lazy river was a hit with the kids. Slow elevators made getting around the hotel frustrating at times.

The indoor water activities are a blast and the valet staff truly saved the day. The location makes it easy to access the beach and there's plenty of parking just be careful of restaurant parking shenanigans.
Our fridge barely worked and the elevator situation was less than ideal.

The outdoor dining by the pool was a highlight, with great food and a beautiful view. Dave at check-in was fantastic, helping us switch rooms after discovering damp carpets, but the manager’s communication fell short, leaving us frustrated. Rooms lacked basic amenities like hand towels and hangers, and cleanliness issues persisted. The pool was bustling with kids, which isn't ideal for quiet relaxation. the staff member who assisted during a minor emergency showed exceptional care. The property has potential, but it feels neglected and could use a serious refresh.

The outdoor swimming pool was perfect for relaxing with a book in hand. Early morning sunrises left me in absolute awe, and the beach access was just a few steps away! Plus, the breakfast buffet was a delightful treat every morning.

Three pools are a huge plus, especially the kid's area with the lazy river. The elevators are super slow and can be frustrating, especially during peak hours. decent stay but needs some updates.

I absolutely loved how close we were to the beach, with easy access just a few steps away, allowing us to enjoy long walks along the boardwalk and soak in the sun while watching dolphins swim right off the shore; plus, having plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walk made dining and shopping super convenient too. The hotel had great amenities including three pools, which were perfect for relaxing after our daily adventures, and the family-friendly atmosphere really added to our fun stay. However, I think the hotel could improve their staffing to better accommodate guests in the restaurants and bar area.

The hotel has fantastic facilities for kids, with multiple outdoor pools including a lazy river and slides. The location is perfect, right by the beach and a great restaurant with delicious food.
It wasn't the cheapest option, but I found it reasonable for what we got.

I lost my car when the paper tag fell and was towed, even though you could see it on the floor. The staff didn't care, gave me the wrong tow address, and I had to pay $165 to get it back.

we were disappointed by the lack of heating in the room, especially during the colder evenings. The air conditioning was also inconsistent, making the room too stuffy at times. We appreciated the tea and coffee facilities provided in the room, as we enjoy having a hot beverage in the mornings. The sitting area was comfortable, but the dining table was a bit cramped for our liking. The patio offered a nice view of the beach, and the garden furniture provided a relaxing spot to unwind. The free toiletries were a nice touch, but we found the selection to be limited. Although we didn't use the am/fm alarm clock, it was a thoughtful addition for those who rely on it. The flat-screen TV was a good source of entertainment, but the carpeted floors seemed a bit outdated and in need of a refresh. We were pleased to find shops and commercial services within the hotel, which made it convenient to pick up any essentials we had forgotten. The laundry facilities were also a bonus for longer stays. we didn't receive a welcome drink upon arrival, which would have been a nice gesture. the Holiday Inn provided a decent stay with some areas that could use improvement. With a few updates and enhancements, it has the potential to be a more enjoyable experience in the future.

The queen suite offered ample space and a nice view, but several issues detracted from our experience. The HVAC unit leaked onto the carpet and dripped down the wall onto our beds for two nights. The staff response was slow, taking two days to address the problem. Room keys continually malfunctioned, requiring multiple trips to the front desk. The bathroom setup felt awkward without a vanity, and there were no hand towels or hangers provided. The floors felt sandy upon arrival, highlighting cleanliness concerns. Despite enjoying the beach access and pools, some staff interactions left much to be desired.

Location is fantastic. Stunning views and convenient free parking across the street. Three pools help ensure I could always find a chair. The front desk staff, especially Dave Z., were friendly and efficient, managing busy check-ins with professionalism. But there were significant issues. Our first room had a wet carpet, impacting my asthma. While Dave quickly accommodated us to another room, the manager's communication was lacking. The cleaning staff could improve; the second room had hair in the tub. no breakfast vouchers created unnecessary confusion at the buffet. Limited amenities, uncomfortable beds, and crowded areas added to the disappointment. The potential is there. Improvements are necessary for a better experience.

Our time at Holiday Inn & Suites was fantastic! The spacious room comfortably housed our family of six. The variety of pools, including an outdoor lazy river, provided endless fun for the kids. Plus, the staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, making our experience memorable.

The beachfront location was fantastic, with a less crowded setting at the north end of the beach. The variety of pools, including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers, added to the relaxing atmosphere. the cleanliness of the room and the friendly staff enhanced the overall experience.
There were some issues with communication upon check-in, as the room location was unclear. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricey and had inconsistencies with the advertised price.

Enjoyed the Neptune Festival's Symphony by the Sea Concert Series with delightful music and a lively atmosphere. The beachfront view from our room balcony was wonderful, allowing easy access for a relaxing walk on the beach.
My wife says that more family-friendly dining options nearby would enhance the overall experience for families with children.

staying at holiday inn was delightful. the view from the balcony was amazing, overlooking the pool and the beach. it was convenient to keep an eye on the kids while still enjoying the scenery. we even got to see pods of dolphins from the balcony each day. the pools and lazy river were perfect for the kids, and there's a small poolside bar for snacks and drinks. the pillows and beds were comfortable, and we loved the walk-in shower.

Great location and spacious, clean room with separate toilet and shower. We had a partially ocean view and enjoyed the pool area. However, the air conditioning and curtains could use improvement. I'll recommend this hotel.

My friends and I had a blast at the Neptune Festival's Symphony by the Sea Concert Series and the Atlantic Coast Kite Festival! We jammed to music and watched amazing kite displays - super lit!
Wish there was a happening nightclub nearby for us young party animals to keep the fun going all night long! .

the room was clean and spacious, and the strong water pressure in the shower was perfect. the staff was accommodating and the pools were great. the portable lift for the pool was a nice touch for accessibility. the location right by the beach and a 7-11 across the street was so convenient. we could watch the kids from the balcony, and seeing pods of dolphins from our room made our stay incredible.

The location of Holiday Inn on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk was perfect for easy access to beautiful landmarks. The oceanfront hotel offered three great eateries, including the upscale Isle of Capri Italian restaurant with a fantastic wine selection.
Difficulty finding loading/unloading carts.

Loved the awesome room view, pools, and seeing the turtles. Great location, friendly staff, and amazing breakfast buffet. Nice pools and warm pool, with a poolside bar for quick bites and adult drinks.
Felt really welcomed, nothing too much trouble.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the friendly receptionist made us feel welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff were attentive to our needs. The highlight for us was the kid-friendly atmosphere, with the fantastic splash camp and enthusiastic staff. The theater room was an added bonus, and my daughter loved getting up close with the turtles. The pools, especially the indoor one, were fantastic. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything. We already can't wait to come back next year!
